I've only found the Anita books a few years ago, and only read them because I was waiting desperately for the next Merry Gentry book, which I foundout about by chance in a bookshop a year or two before. I read Guilty Pleasures and I was like '..yeah, okay. Sure.' but then I started on the others and they sort of hooked my appetite. I'm not sure which book I'm most fond of, to be honest. I'm rather partial to all the books now, though burnt offerings was quite interesting and.. Oh bother. I don't know? Likewise for characters. Though Edward amuses me in a way that I find mildly disturbing. Likewise for Raina, but she's much more disturbing than Edward could manage, even with his flame thrower. I've gained a rather soft spot for Nathaniel though, and like many Jean-Claude and Asher have found themselfves a place in my heart. Richard, dear Richard. Him I just want to kick in the balls. Even though I do like him half the time.
