Me personally, I think the traits of both these actors perfectly match the descriptions in the books (though Orlando would need contacts to ge tMicah's yellow green eyes)

On top of that, they are two of the most famous actors in Hollywood right now. Can you imagine the extra ratings from that?
They're both professional actors that will guarantee great performance in the movie, plus everyone loves them and I'm sure would be happy to have them in the movie. Along with the fact that they've worked together in Pirates of the Caribbean, why not have them duo in another movie? :]
