In 2006, the Anita Blake Universe joined the world of comics and graphic novels with the announced serialized publication of Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter Guilty Pleasures.


In conjuction with Dabel Brothers Productions and later Marvel Comics Inc, Laurell K. Hamilton announced in February 2006 that she had signed a deal to bring Anita's story to a whole new audience.audience in the graphic novel format.
