November 2007 Message

| Hi Everyone It has been almost a month since my last message to you all. Hope you have all been well. What's new at AnitaWiki?? Well, we were featured on the WetPaint home page again. Here is a clip from a message that I received: "Just another friendly message to say you're doing an AWESOME job on your wiki! Great promotions - those P2P messages really help people get excited about what you're doing!! I wanted to let you know that we've featured you again on our homepage the HALLOWEEN tab. " Have you noticed? We've got a new banner on our site. I'd like to thank Gwen and her great photoshop skills for making this for us! I really like it! How about you? We've got several new members this past month and I'd like to extend another welcome here to all of them: rosenoir, AngelaB, _feathergirl_, juliannaophilia and steroagnostic. Thank you for joining our site. I look forward to hearing more from all of you. Have you checked out any of the new features from the latest Wetpaint update? I've tried out some of the table changes on the site already. What do you think? We have had over 630 new visits to our site since the last message on October 14. Some of the neat locations these hits have been generated from include: Romania, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Portugal, France, Oman, Singapore and Bulgaria. Google seems to be the primary source. I've added a poll to the home page. Come out and vote. I'd like to change this every month, so if you have a question that you would like to see posted send it to me with the top 5 possible answers and I will add it to the upcoming poll list. I will create a new section soon to house old polls, probably under Timeline and we can have a historical reference of what we have asked. Another thing that I would like to do is add some music to the site. There is a imeem widget that allows this, but what I need is some content there that reflects the books and characters. I know that on PDS we have had lots of suggestions for songs representing various characters and pairs. We need those songs loaded to imeem. Some people took me up on last month's challenge to adopt 2 characters and create pages for them, but not enough of you, so I will issue the challenge again! Come on, show your favorite minor character some love by creating a page!!! As always, I love to hear from you! triscut |
