Want to help us improve the site but are not sure what you can do or where to start? Look no further. Here are some tips and lists of pages that either need minor updates, major updates, or need to be created.
	You can also consult the To-Do section of the wiki. In this section various members of the wiki have made notations about required tasks.

Tips for Updating Pages and Adding Content to the Wiki Stick to canon fact where-ever possible. Canon fact is specifically stated information. This is primarily from the books, although sometimes this can come from LKH's blog, Msypace, YouTube or Twitter accounts. Please state the alternate source. Please use book and or page references to allow confirmation or further investigation. Please indicate if you need assistance to track down the exact location. use (ref?) after the statement Please try to stick to the page topic. Create a new page if the content is getting off the page topic. Please try to use proper spelling, punctuation, and grammar Please do add images where applicable. Try to keep pages a reasonable size - generally no more than three complete screen fulls of text - picture pages can be longer. It the page is getting long, try splitting up the topic into several pages. Please do add relevant images. Try to space them equally across the page for best affect. Pictures will break up a page and should reflect or add to the content.

How to help Researchers and fact checkers are always needed Image searchers are also always welcome Edit/review existing pages, noting/correcting spelling, punctuation, grammar formatting errors Check disputed reported facts and correct if necessary Check threads for offensive or repetitive content and advise moderators. They can remove it, and in the case of offensive content either talk to the person responsible or ban them.

Please keep the following in mind: We are endeavoring to be as accurate as possible with all information that we list. If you are stating a canon fact, please try and document the book and page if possible. If you see an existing notation with (?ref?) or (?) and you know the answers, please do add it or tell us about it. Likewise, if you see something that is wrong, please tell us, but be sure that you give us the facts to support your point.

Wiki Pages/Sections Needing Updates

Minor Characters - the characters in the books are numerous, we need both new pages created for those that have not yet been documented, and more information on characters whose pages have not been completed, especially as new books come out.

Major Characters - for these, we are looking for additional details, facts, glimpses from the various books to add to their profiles.

Supporting Characters - Like the minor characters, these are also numerous, but they play a more pivotal role in at least one book. We need both new pages created for those that have not yet been documented, and more information on characters whose pages have not been completed, especially as new books come out.


Detailed Book Summaries are required for: Burnt Offerings, Blue Moon, Cerulean Sins, Narcissus in Chains, Obsidian Butterfly, Danse Macabre, Incubus Dreams, Micah, The Harlequin, Blood Noir, Skin Trade

Book Details - Shells are in place for all of the books, but there are many details that need to be filled in. Things such as a synopsis of the book, character lists, publisher blurbs, tidbits, etc.

Character Quotes - This is for any and all characters. Do you have a favorite line that a character says? Include it on that character's profile page or if they have a separate quote page, there.

Location details - we are looking for information about the different places that the books take place. This can be both from the real world - to provide links for research, and things stated in the books.

Business details - Remember a business mentioned in the books? Help us create a listing, complete with a description and location.

Vampire Hate Clubs/Groups - we need to complete and round out the information about the various groups that have been formed and mentioned in the books

RPIT Cases - these are the criminal cases that Anita has been asked to participate in throughout the books. This particular section deals particularly with the ones involving the RPIT.

Anita's Cases - these are criminal cases that Anita has been asked to participate in or simply informed about throughout the novels. This particular section deals with the ones NOT involving RPIT. Work has been started, but updates need to be made.

Zombie Raisings - The people that Anita has participated in animating.

Glossary - add definitions of AB:VH terms, words, etc, where possible, when using the word in context on a page, use a link to the Glossary to allow people to look up an unfamiliar word. If that word in turn relates to a section of the site, link the glossary term to that page. There are examples of this currently in the glossary. Please try to keep it in alphabetical order.

Index - in order to make this feature effective, links must made to pages and information added here as content is added to the wiki.
