Character Associations and Ties Married to a woman named Lucille. Has two sons: Paul (younger), who is an engineer and married but can't have children, and Darrin (older), a lawyer who is in love with a vampire and wants to marry her. (NiC) Close friend of Anita's and feels responsible for getting her involved with the monsters. In the later books, he constantly disapproves of her relationships with the vampires and lycanthropes.
