Valentina's "age"
Nov 23 2007, 12:05 AM EST When Valentina was introduced in Cerulean Sins, she was described as "A little girl of seen or eight" Then in her one scene in Danse Macabre, she suddenly gets downgraded to "she may have looked five" (page 139, HC). I don't know much about kids, but that sounds like a pretty big difference in appearance. 3 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: Valentina's "age"
Dec 21 2007, 10:24 PM EST I have a seven year old sister, and she looks quite different from when she was five. So it is quite different. Do you find this valuable? |

RE: Valentina's "age"
Dec 22 2007, 12:01 AM EST Though that age difference seems to be extreme, don't forget that she is a powerful vampire and can affect how others perceive her.... maybe she deliberately was going for that younger more innocent look at the time??? Just a thought. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: Valentina's "age"
Dec 22 2007, 3:25 AM EST True, but Anita had already seen her, so you wouldn't think she would be fooled... *shrug* I don't know. I'm keeping her looking seven for my fics, anyway. It's kind of like Is-Damian-Belle's-line-or-not? You just have to pick whichever answer works for you. ;-P 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: Vampire Servant
Jan 7 2008, 7:59 PM EST The YABBI is correct, the page number referenced was wrong. I fixed that and added the exact quote that I am referring to... Thank you. Do you find this valuable? |

RE: Vampire Servant
Mar 25 2008, 8:56 PM EDT Ok, hold on the Vampire servant thing is probably because if you read through the books since Anita ended up with her own triumverate and at times she is capable of doing so much to help the vampire community there are those that call Anita the "Living Vampire". So it would only fit that at that point she may have been thinking on that length. Do you find this valuable? |
