Anita's Father

Has anyone found a name for Anita's father in the books? I've been searching and no one seems to know him. For someone who had an impact on her life as wide as an Olympic-sized pool, he goes nameless a lot. Do you find this valuable?

I can't recall one either.. but then, she'd have little cause to use his name, and since she's the narrator, well she'd probably just think of him as dad or father. Do you find this valuable?

Anita's father has never been given a first name in canon. We know that he is of germanic descent, he is a veterinarian, and he lives some distance from St. Louis. Do you find this valuable?

Hmm, it's possible that we'll still find out about him in the future books, though I don't know if we'll meet family sometime in the future. In the spirit of the season, I always get the warm fuzzies--no, not lycanthropy ^_^--when thinking about how her family acts together. Do you find this valuable?

I think that it would be nice to have at least one chapter in a coming book that has Anita meeting her family. This way we could get a better picture of what her father and brother are like. We already have a pretty good idea what her stpe-mother, Judith, is like. By the way, did anyone notice if Anita's brothers name is mentioned? I think the only name mentioned was Judith's. Do you find this valuable?

Yes, it would be nice to learn a little more about where she comes from. It has been awhile since we learned anything new about her family. The halfbrother's name is Josh, and the stepsister's name is Andria. Josh is 10 years younger and Andria is a couple years younger. Do you find this valuable?

Also Anita's Dad is a vet. Can't remember which book it was brought up in, but just remember her saying that. Do you find this valuable?
