i disagree with the character photo for anita. she is ALWAYS described as extremely pale yet with the dark mexican hair and eyes of her mother. so my best actress match would be nicole kidman with hair dyed dark. she's still stunning with dark hair but understated which is exactly what anita should look like. there should be a draw to her 2  out of 5 found this valuable. I think that this is a really good idea... I for one would love to see if anyone was able to get a picture of Nicole Kidman and dye her hair darker and make it longer and also darker her eyes... I think it would make for a very interesting picture of her and a leading entry into the look of Anita... wot does other fans think?? Do you find this valuable?

I don't think Norah Jones and Nicole Kidman are good photo ideas for Anita. Can't think of anyone right now who may fit the profile, but I'll get back once I'm able to think some more on this matter. Do you find this valuable?

When I think Anita Blake I think Isabelle Adjani from Diabolique 1996 film with Sharon Stone.... And that's my opinion! Do you find this valuable?

When I think Anita I think of Kate Beckinsdale in either Van Helsing or Underworld. As underworld she kicks arse but obviously a vamp so thats not great but in val helsing her hair eyes etc are perfect and she is human.

I would have to disagree with Nicole Kidman. I really don't think she would make a good Anita. My vote would go with Eliza Dushku, from Buffy the Vampire Slayer (she played Faith). The only downfall to this character being Anita is her honey-colored skin. She is an actress, she has the hair and eyes to pull the character off, and she can kick serious butt in a fight. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

The woman in the picture is way to delicate looking to be Anita. I agree that much, but Nicole Kidman? I don't think so. Thats putting it way to off. Kate Beckinsdale on the other hand is a better choice than Nicole Kidman, but i still feel like she can't be "ANITA". I think Anita should have curlier hair, from the impression I got from the books. So, thats a no for me on the picture. Do you find this valuable?

The most realistic casting, other than an unknown, is Michelle Rodriguez (http://www.imdb.com/media/rm852925696/nm0735442) or Kat Von D (without tattoos). They not only have the correct body type and personality, but resemble both the book and comics while remaining Latino. Nicole Kidman was a silly suggestion. Do you find this valuable?

I think that if Catherine Zeta-Jones was shorter with just a few more curves, then she'd be kinda okay. Do you find this valuable?
