Oh a PS - don't agree with the sex being toned down, removed, or changed in any way... Honestly, I'd feel a bit robbed if it wasn't in there now...

For the screen, yeah we can leave some of it out - but in the books.. her writing has yet to make me say 'boring sex details' :p just my opinion

I agree whole heartedly. I think that in the sex, it shows the characters deepest darkest secrets, and in sleep. When they talk during the sex, it shows emotion that they wouldn't and probably couldn't show if they wernt doing something so intimate. I think, same as a lot of you, that in the tv show to tone it down a bit, but not in the books.

You never know what they will say in the heat of the moment.

And with the actors and actresses. Please don't get me started... Since LKH is working on the show actually she said that there will be a MOVIE and maybe a tv show, I think that since she knows the characters better then all of us that she should pick the actors and actresses well.

Ok so where the hell are these comic's cause damn I hate to miss em!
But anyways, if Twightlight can become a new today movie why not Anita Blakes entire story of deep dark sexy sordid hot horny tantilizing tales, and just think this would make sequel after and the audience would double with screen viewers, and damn do not someone need to share the experiece with the Non - Readers of todays society?

You can find the comics at Hastings, Barns&Noble, Border, ect. Please don't mention Twilight to me unless you are talking about throwing your popcorn, soda, and lightsabers at it, becuase Anita will be a million times the book and movie more then it.

And yes we do...(evil grin) I think that we should shove it down their throats 'till they read it.

That is true and its writen better.

And no I'm not quoting star wars. I had a dream that I was with some of the characters and we went to a movie and I got mad at it and chucked a lightsaber at the screen. It kind of became a joke. (And all of this, the whole dream, I was saying it out loud, in my sleep) so.....

I will see any Anita Blake Movie or T.V. Series / Show! I only hope they don't get rid of the sex! I love it! I already have my opening day tickets for twilight. I have not read the twilight books......but I'll try anything once! Who knows I might want to read the books after I see the movie!

You should at least read Twilight (book 1) before you see the movie, you know they never get it right in the movie and the book is always better. Just a suggestion. Do you find this valuable?

UGGGG!!!!!!!! TWILIGHT SUCKS!! I HATE IT!!! I got the fourth book the day it came out and didn't read it for 4 months before I was perpresured into reading it. And I usually read any kind of vampire noveI that is not horror horror, with the exception of Anne Rice, but I hated Twilight. It wasn't written well and I know good writing when I see it and the plots sucked, taken from other stories and twisted into a sucky glittery vampire novel!

have to admit it was better then the 2nd and 3rd but it still sucks.

Any way enough of Twilight we are here to talk about LKH. Anything on the movie?????

I think it may have been smarter to push for the movie a couple of years ago. I, personally would love to see a movie done based on the books and I hear that it will be followed with a television series but it would have been wiser to have done it sooner. With movies out like Blood&Chocolate, Underworld and Blade , and television shows like True Blood and Blood Ties, it will be hard to appear as if she isn't just riding the latest fad. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. I'm not of the same opinion as most of these guys. Sometimes it's more gratifying to watch the movie first. The book will undoubtedly be better than the movie this way you enjoy both.

"I absolutely adore the books and the comics the charters themselves already have taken on a excited persona and what with everyone having a different Idea of who would best suite this charter I think it is going to be pretty damn impossible. don't get me wrong I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to see this program air but as excited as I am I will be Just as disappointed if it fails. not only will I be disappointed in the inner workings of the TV business themselves but I feel that It could possibly alter my opinion of the charters. so... in conclusion Im excited but if it don't work out I think I may never speak to my tv set again"
I know what you mean the right person for the respective character would make even a shody plot look half way good but a great script with the wrong character would ruin it i hope they do sucseed.

I agree with what some of what you said but i also disagree. One I've never even heard of blood and choclate nad two everyone loves vampire movies so she wouldn't technicaly be coping the fad. Because her books are in a world and league of thier on underworld and blade have been out a while midnight goes on and of and is really confusing.Blood Ties is only online so that would hurt the series and the blad series is no longer on either.I don't think I've ever heard of true blood though. But all in all no movie or other series could possibly bump the anita movie or it's series.
