Opinions on Jean-Claude vs. Richard
Jul 2 2008, 10:19 PM EDT Personally, I like Jean-Claude. I think Richard is too whiny. I absolutely loathe him. He makes every meeting with Anita a complete disaster. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: Opinions on Jean-Claude vs. Richard
Jul 3 2008, 12:58 AM EDT I hate Richard, plain and simple. I guess I'll need to wait for the next book though to see if Richard changes at all. Because in BN Anita took her anger back, or however you want to say it. Maybe that'll change him for the better. Maybe not. But ultimately, were it to come down to Jean-Clause or Richard... I vote Jean-Claude all the way. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: Opinions on Jean-Claude vs. Richard
Jul 3 2008, 9:11 PM EDT You know I personally am kind of torn on this one. I like both of them, however, I feel Anita's life would be so much less complicated if she stuck with ONE guy, and I kind like that Richard actually is posessive of Anita. I feel that shows he cares about her alot, maybe more than the rest of the men do. She might be able to simplify her life by keeping only a few guys to feed the aurdeur off of, but NOT have sex with them, just feed and stay loyal to Richard. BUT I do agree that Richard needs to jst friggen ACCEPT that he is a werewolf and will stay that way. I think Anita is perfect for him because he can let himself go with her and not worry about killing her, but she still has her humanity, she is not a full lycanthrope. I like Jean-Claude but she will never marry him, eventually she will grow old, maybe ALOT slower than everyone else because she is technically his human servant, BUT she does not bear the fourth mark so she WILL age, and then what will he do with her? Sorry guys, my vote is for Richard. They can be happy together if only she would choose him and only him, the reason he's so whiney all the time is because he loves her so much that he wants her all to himself.....and I really don't see anything wrong with that! lol I like Jean-Claude, but I'd like him more if he was more protective of Anita and wanted her only for himself, he seems to not mind, and maybe even enjoy, sharing her. : / 1 out of 2 found this valuable. RE: Opinions on Jean-Claude vs. Richard
Jul 4 2008, 12:10 AM EDT While all that is true, if JC were more protective and possesive of Anita when it came to other men, nothing would function properly in everyone's lives. I mean, none of this stuff with the ardeur would work, without the ardeur, there would be no Micah. No Micah means a few more problems with the leopards and that whole furry coalition wouldn't be as, well, good. I don't think Richard would be good for her because, as Anita has pointed out, he wants to put her in a box. Anita would go insane in a box. If Anita were to accept the fourth mark as Richard needs to accept his wolfy-ness, then the age issue wouldn't be much of one. I'm not wholly sure on where Jean-Claude needs to do some bending, he pretty much bends at every curve for Anita, with anything from those little outfits of his to him letting her have a zillion (exaggeration) other men on her to-screw list. Okay, I'll stop rambling now, i'm feeling like a crazy person now... =] 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: Opinions on Jean-Claude vs. Richard
Jul 4 2008, 12:18 AM EDT Hmm, later in the series Richard just get's annoying when he looses his temper on every single thing. I mean every time he enters the story its him and Anita just bitching back and forth. -_- But earlier in the series I really liked him. He showed alot of emotion that a human being would feel. Jean-Claude holds back alot I think. He's just a wall half the time, but we all know he deeply cares for Anita and sexifys her throughout the series! 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: Opinions on Jean-Claude vs. Richard
Jul 6 2008, 8:40 PM EDT No. I don't agree. If he really cared so much, he would try and make a good effort to be in her life and accept some crap. He's whiny all the time cause his life is not going the way he imagined it would go. Personally, I think the only way that him and Anita could have a real chance is if he accepted the truth. The ardeur is there to say. Going away from Jean-Claude will NOT help. And I think its a good thing that Jean-Claude is so willing to share her. It shows he really cares because he knows her well and is willing to love her on the only terms she can accept with him still in her life. But Richard does't seem to care. He just wants her and only her. Anita is not a toy to fight over. She is a person who has the right to love as many men as she wants. She does not have to limit her love to one person. I don't like Richard because he can't seem to deal with that. If he could just step back and admit that it isn't right for him to subject her through that then maybe Anita could get on with her life and get over him. Until then she is forced to love a man who can never understand her feelings and the decisions she makes. Maybe not all the men in Anita's life understand her but at least they make an honest effort. <<sigh>> sorry but i can't stand Richard. He hurts her inways no one else can. Not to mention that whole "i-will-cahnge-you-into-a-werewolf-even-though-it-will-destroy-your-life" scene. Yeah. When I read that my opinion of him went from "Whiny fool" to "Bastard!!!!!!" Richard needs to move on because noting good could happen between them. If he moves on and lets Anita go then she can ove on herself. He owes that to her. 3 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: Opinions on Jean-Claude vs. Richard
Jul 6 2008, 8:52 PM EDT Ok ok ok ok, I hate Richard. He is just a big bitch to me and I hate it. If there would be any kind of war between Richard and Jean-Claude, I would hope that Jean-Claude would win because personally Jean-Claude would take better care of Anita then Richard. Micah and Nathanial do a pretty good job too. I just really want Richard out of the picture. 3 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

Jul 10 2008, 7:43 PM EDT If this is a Jean-Claude vs. Richard, what's the point of anyone saying they like Richard if they're just going to be argued down for it. No one on this wiki likes Richard. Do you find this valuable? |

Jul 11 2008, 11:34 PM EDT But the problem is, Richard is turning into one of the good guys now and I am having trouble on who to blame all of the bad things that happen on someone else because if you think about it, Richard is causing most of the problems. Do you find this valuable? |

Jul 12 2008, 2:59 PM EDT "Even if Richard is changed now because of what occured in BN, he still won't accept who is is.I think the likelihood of Richard accepting himself completely is slim. And even if Anita loves him it's kinda hard to trust Richard. Cause one moment he'll try to be good....and the next he's picking fights with everyone. Btw, I haven't had the chance to read BN....would you mind telling me what happened to Richard.....(I don't get your reference to BN.) Do you find this valuable? |

RE: Opinions on Jean-Claude vs. Richard
Jul 13 2008, 9:01 PM EDT "But then if everything is Richards fault(NOT SIDEING WITH HIM) why hasn't he left?"Because he's a dumbass and the only way to get rid of him is to kill his character off. But we can't do that because if he dies either Jean-Claude or Anita, or both, will die! So we have to put up with him. Do you find this valuable? |
